Is the FDA aware of this? If so, why haven't they approved it and allow it to start being used to help patients? COPD is 24/7 suffering from not being able to get enough oxygen to the brain. GHK has a potential for treating several diseases and in all the research on the molecule, no negative actions have ever been reported. But I doubt if it will ever used in the USA because of its low cost. Think of the new $1,000 a day drug for the treatment of hepatitis C of the liver. The best possibility is that it be used as a nutritional supplement and encapsulated in liposomes for oral use. It should fit the legal definition of a nutritional supplement. But GHK may be used in countries...

My brother just had two heart attacks. After being brought back from the dead twice he found out, during a checkup, that he also has COPD. Like your mom, he is steadily in decline, probably more emotionally and psychologically b/c he really has no hope from his doctors that there is anything that can be done. I am never surprised but always amazed what the supposedly Health Care System is (not) doing for the health of humanity. We know that a cure for cancer was found and used for stage 4...

This information is for the use of medical researchers and persons interested in health sciences. It must be emphasized that GHK and other copper binding peptides have not been tested on human emphysema and COPD and are not approved for such uses. One way that may help with COPD is to take 6 mg/day of copper glycinate after a meal. Look at the new revision of http://www.skinbiology.com/cop...sema-copd-genes.html . for the reasons behind this idea. It may not stop COPD but it may help to...

This is actually an ultrasonic cool mist inhaler... Ultrasonic wave puts the liquid medication ( reconstitute the Peptide GHK-cu with Bacteriostatic water) into an ultra fine mist. I know the advertising says Steam but its not... the manufacturer from China just doesn't know how to describe the product correctly in English. Trust me it works by ultrasonic wave. Search for Magicfly on Ebay... it's so cheap but works so well... instantly creates a mist...

Don't buy GHK-cu POWDER that is used for cosmetics to put in creams as you can't trust something like that to be pure and certainly isn't sterile... you must use GHK-cu Peptide which will come in a sterile vacuum sealed vial and the peptide is Lyophilized which means its freeze dried and will look like a white disc... Please let me know if you hear of any good results with this system. My hope is that physicians outside of the USA start testing GHK-copper on patients. My fear is that the big pharma will replace GHK with an expensive synthetic drug filled with side effects. The person's lungs might work better, but their hair will fall out, they will have constant nausea, and their cognitive ability will plummet.

Dr I sure will report back here...people need to know . There is a lot of research on GHK and I haven't read one negative to using it. It's use can go well beyond COPD's use... Dr's need to band together to use natural peptides like GHK to heal people. It's naturally occurring so they have a lot of leeway in it's use... If anything GHK declines with age and should be used to bring the levels back to a more normal state to facilitate normal healthy healing. Big pharma will want to alter it to...

I don't think it will cause any problems. We just are somewhat over-cautious on newer products. Crepey Skin Escape is receiving great reviews. As for DMSO, I still have not found any real evidence for toxicities. Mechanics have used it for many decades to remove grease from auto parts.

Re: Does Magnesium Citrate interfer with Copper Absorption?

Skin Biology ·
Dear Rossana, I see no problem with this. Copper and magnesium have very different binding affinities. There is great confusion about copper in the blood. Ceruloplasmin is an anti-oxidant and often high in diseases. But copper 2+ from the diet is taken up by albumin for transport to the cells. Best wishes, Loren Pickart

Are there specific brands or formulations you all could recommend? e.g. strictly topical, GHK copper the only ingredient or should I watch out for other ingredients, which brands to avoid, etc. I would like to use GHK copper for my hair and skin, but would it also help internally, if there is a formulation safe for ingestion?

Thank you for posting your question - We are happy to reply back! We are checking with Dr. Pickart to see if there might possibly be any interaction if you plan on adding GHK-Cu to this product. Keep in mind that for a finished product however, Dr. Pickart never suggests to go beyond 3% GHK-Cu as the final concentration. You have been so helpful THAN YOU! I’ve tested the PH of the cream and it’s a neutral 5 so I’m hoping that’s all we need to make sure of? I’ve also tested various oils such as jojoba or, even better for hair, castor oil, and they come at a neutral ph as well. Will that be enough to consider them safe for the GHK-Cu? With more research I’ve understood you do need to dilute the pure powder in order to add it in drops to the final medium (cream or oil). Am I correct? Copper toxicity does worry...
