Re: DMSO & GHK: A Success Story
Hi I wonder is it ok to add a touch of DMSO to a jar of skin cream that is organic and filled with nourishment so that it would go deeper into the skin for better results ? I have some DMSO 99% unopened still .

Re: DMSO & GHK: A Success Story
DMSO is added to many GHK products. But you only need a little, such as 1 to 2% if you add it yourself.

Re: DMSO & GHK: A Success Story
Hi Dr . Pickart , why do you say Crepey Skin Escape is not meant to be used around the eye area ? I read this statement but you don't say why . Is it because it contains DMSO ?

Re: DMSO & GHK: A Success Story
I don't think it will cause any problems. We just are somewhat over-cautious on newer products. Crepey Skin Escape is receiving great reviews. As for DMSO, I still have not found any real evidence for toxicities. Mechanics have used it for many decades to remove grease from auto parts.

What Happens to your Skin as you get Older
As your body ages, the appearance and characteristics of your skin change. Visible aging of your skin starts around age 25 as your natural regenerative processes begin to slow. Your skin replaces old cells more slowly and there is a slower turnover of...

GHK & Wound Healing: Built-In Natural Regulator of Dermal Repair
GHK & Wound Healing: Built-In Natural Regulator of Dermal Repair The wound healing process in the skin goes through the following phases: hemostasis (blood clotting), inflammation, granulation, and scar remodeling. Every stage requires well-coordinated cell interaction and therefore is precisely orchestrated by a plethora of biological active molecules coming from different sources. For example, immediately after injury degranulating platelets release growth factors (such as TGF-beta)...

Looking for validation of our software, eSkIN: Computational platform for skin research
Hi, I am a researcher working in the Systems Biology group at Persistent Systems. We have developed a comprehensive computational platform for skin research, eSkIN. It is aimed at deriving actionable insights from big biological data generated from high-throughput experiments thus completing the “golden triad” of experiment, computation and knowledge. We are looking for skin researchers to validate our software. About eSkIN: eSkIN allows the translation of large scale high-throughput...

GHK - Now Part of Major Reference Textbook on Skin!
Resetting Skin Genome Back to Health Naturally with GHK Textbook of Aging Skin (Reference Book Abstract) The copper-binding tripeptide GHK (glycyl- l -histidyl- l -lysine) is a naturally occurring plasma peptide widely used in skin care products. It is especially popular in antiaging cosmetic formulations due to its various and well-established positive biological effects on aging skin. It has been established that GHK-Cu improves wound healing and tissue regeneration and stimulates collagen...

DMSO + GHK: An Amazingly Effective Combination
Skin and Hair Transplantation GHK-Cu substantially improved the transplants of skin grafts in pigs, mice, and humans. The best results were obtained by using GHK-Cu dissolved in a small amount of DMSO (dimethylsulfoxide). Normally in skin grafts, most of the grafted skin dies off, and new skin grows outward from the surviving core of the skin graft. However, the addition of DMSO often so improved the graft "take" that the final graft "take" area exceeded the actual size of the skin graft.

Re: GHK & Wound Healing: Built-In Natural Regulator of Dermal Repair
It is a very interesting review. We have developed a computational platform ( www.persistent.com/eskin ) for skin research, wherein skin associated pathways like Keratinocyte Differentiation, Wound Healing, Cornification are built. The role of TGF-beta in wound healing is well studied and accommodated in our pathways. It will be valuable to incorporate this information in our pathway models.
