Re: Copper Misconceptions

Jessica ·
Dear Beth, Many of our clients have emailed us with concerns about the safety of copper. Excessive copper has been blamed for many diseases – Alzheimer's, heart disease, cancer, etc. The problem is that most of this comes from data on blood plasma copper and diseases. But usually, high blood plasma copper is associated with low tissue copper. Most plasma copper (60%) is locked in proteins such as in ceruloplasmin - an acute phase reactant that rises with stress and disease, and other...

Re: GHK and Bone Healing in Humans!

Dr. Loren Pickart ·
His physicians wanted a hip transplant... My lameness in the right hip is improving dramatically only one day after starting SAM-e 400 mgs and the 3% GHK-Cu cream mixed with 3% DMSO, rubbed over the hip area. I must be taking 15 assorted supplements by now, MSM, BioCell Collagen II, NEM, and CTMinerals among them, started a week ago, so determining exactly why this rapid improvement would be futile. However, the GHK-Cu cream and SAM-e seem to have accelerated things. Impressive relief from...

Re: Copper Peptide Skin Solution That Works

Seihaa ·
Hi everyone! I live in the UK and have been able to source a 50mg GHK-CU powder vial from a reputable lab. I want to use it topically for skin ageing and, most importantly, on my scalp to help with alopecia. I plan to do microneedling once a month on face and scalp and apply a cream made with the peptide. I only use natural products on my skin so I was thinking of mixing the peptide with my current face cream which is from a 100% natural german brand called weleda. You can see the...

Re: Copper Peptide Skin Solution That Works

Seihaa ·
You have been so helpful THAN YOU! I’ve tested the PH of the cream and it’s a neutral 5 so I’m hoping that’s all we need to make sure of? I’ve also tested various oils such as jojoba or, even better for hair, castor oil, and they come at a neutral ph as well. Will that be enough to consider them safe for the GHK-Cu? With more research I’ve understood you do need to dilute the pure powder in order to add it in drops to the final medium (cream or oil). Am I correct? Copper toxicity does worry...

Are There Controlled Studies on Copper Peptides?

Skin Biology ·
Are There Controlled Studies on Copper Peptides? Just as a piano must be periodically fine-tuned to maintain melodic balance, studies suggest that GHK-Cu tunes gene expression to a healthier, younger state. But how does this translate to healthier, younger skin? A clinical study which compared the effect on the skin's production of collagen after using creams containing copper-peptides, vitamin C, or retinoic acid (retin-A) Twenty volunteers applied the various creams to their thighs daily...

Cosmetic Peptides Knowledge Popularization--Syn-Ake

Bella-Youngshe ·
While some anti-aging ingredients only relax wrinkles or tighten skin, Syn-Ake does both. The chief complaint many people have with peptides that only relax wrinkles, they don't quite smooth areas as well. It not only works on lines caused by facial muscle cell contractions. (You know those 11's, the frown lines in between the brows) But, also provides a smoother, firming lift on creases. This peptide is based on the Temple Viper’s venom. It's a synthetic tripeptide that mimics the effects...
