Biological Similarities of GHK-Copper: How It May Affect You

GHK has many diverse biological actions, an effect which unfortunately makes acceptance of its biological role by many researchers difficult. However, there is another copper-binding molecule with surprisingly similar actions to GHK-Copper.

The late John R. J. Sorenson (University of Arkansas) developed many salicylate-copper complexes that possess potentially therapeutic actions. The most active of these was diisipropylsalicylate-copper.

Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antiulcer activities of copper complexes suggest their use in a physiologic approach to treatment of arthritic diseases. Sorenson JR. Basic Life Sci. 1988;49:591-4.
